Following the previous post about “girls being better at English than Maths” I thought I’d throw in one of the rare occasions where Brinton went down a path he probably shouldn’t have done: using isometric paper to build a 3d chart.
3d charts are not one of his best ideas. Visual.ly has a nice summary of why 3d charts are rarely a good thing. As we’ll see in the next post, however, there are ways to make 3d charts work.

Don’t worry – Brinton is about much more than 3d charts and dodgy conclusions. More of the positive to come.
